Funny Thing is...
So tired. Had a terrible vertigo thing earlier today when out on a walk with Bran. I had to hold his shoulder the entire way home along with stopping every so often so I could close my eyes. No idea what was up with that...I need to see the GP I think. Memo to self: don't try and push through things when your body says rest. I don't know what I would have done if I was alone...I guess just sit and rest until the world stopped wiggling and tilting. I have had times where I was in so much pain that I couldn't focus/stand on my own, but this was very much vertigo. I did feel mostly better after two glasses of water, a voltarin and a nap, but haven't felt the best for the rest of the day.

Holiday Blues
Tired today. Slept for 10 hours and had an hour and a half nap. Now i'm tired again at 9. Blah, not a fan of flares. Hands, wrists, and feet still acting up. I did have a nice day at home with the family though :). Ate lots of chocolate, had yummy pizza, and watched movies with Bran. I finally saw the movie 300. It was alright, not really my cup of tea but I can appreciate the nice scenery and lighting effects.
I'm still struggling a bit with missing my family. It's worse around the holidays. My family do big holiday get togethers with lots of food and laughter. Bran's family isn't really into that. Sometimes people will get together to have lunch on Christmas, but other than that it's pretty much just the main family unit and chocolate. Not that it's bad of course :) who am I to say no to chocolate? But I do miss my big family celebrations. It's difficult to make the celebration important when my husband grew up in a family that wasn't terribly celebratory. Well, i'll just have to start our own traditions :D!

Occupational Therapist, Finally!
I finally had my visit with the occupational therapist today. She was actually really lovely and informative, i'm glad I was able to see her :). I did some away with some new lycra gloves, wrist splints, and big tubing to go on silverware and pens when i'm having a bad day. She also mentioned a cane and looking for a shower stool. I'm not sure how to feel about the stool, but I guess since I have enough problems for a cane....just not quite yet. I can still stand well enough :) just not walk so well...
I'm struggling with the idea of a cane. Part of me feels like it would help with taking the stress off my feet and knees when i'm having a bad day, but the other part of me feels like I don't really need it and I should just suck it up and move on. I actually had a dream the other night that I was ment to be using a wheelchair, but chose not to and ended up limping and crying the entire way home from all the pain. Not so much fun experiencing pain while you are dreaming.
On a lighter note, i'm on school vacation now :). Hopefully this will give me some time to do my projects and rest up a bit.

Randoms Bits and Bobs
I may have had apple pie for breakfast >.>.....
Today was a sore day, but I still made a delicious persimmon tart! So there chronic illness! :D Thankfully the pie dough was already made and persimmons are really soft...
I've gone back to drinking my coffee with milk and eating gluten regularly. Honestly, I don't feel like it's making too much of a difference as long as I don't have more than about half a cup of milk and a few slices of bread. I do feel like i've been able to process it better since I added fish back in. I don't really know how that works, but i'm sure thankful! I enjoy milk in my coffee much more than any milk substitute.
I actually wore my knee brace to school today. No one commented, no one stared, or even batted an eyelash. Meh, I guess I should be less concerned. There are all sorts of people at my school, and I know i've seen someone walking with forearm crutches. I don't know what i'll say if someone asks though....whether I should explain about PsA and try to spread awareness or just say that I have some joint problems.
Seriously thinking about getting a cane though. My feet/ankles/knees seem to constantly be getting worse :(. If it would be helpful, I think I would be alright using a cane...though i'm not sure how my wrists would like it.

Apple Pie in the Sky
Hands and wrist were sore today, along with the typical R knee (went out twice today, twice!) and oddly my L knee is sore as well. Maybe from the strengthening exercises? I sure hope so >.>.
I've been missing my family today. It's always stressful for me here around holidays. I wish I could be back with my family in the USA watching the lil'ons find easter eggs and doing egg bowling :). It'll likely be just Bran and myself here for easter. Maybe i'll finally attempt to make hot cross buns.
On the other hand I did make a nice deep dish apple pie for my poor stressed out hubby <3. Made with tender lover and lots of spices, yum! I do enjoy making apple pies, other than the chopping part. I had fun making a yogurt pie crust as well. A bit different, but still nice. I'm not exactly the best pastry chef >.> but I do my best. Still came out yummy and made my husband smile.

Day After MTX
Today was spent curled up in bed attempting to get some of my workbook for microbiology done. I'm happy to say I did indeed finish a chunk of it, vacuumed, and even went for a walk! Pretty good for the day after MTX :). I am very very tired though, about ready to fall into bed despite only having been up for about 13 1/2 hours. Gotta love that fatigue. Goodnight

Just Like Riding a...Wait...
So lesson two of bike riding today! It actually went quite well other than having a mini-panic attack when a car went by me. Over all a lazy day.
