Not so bad today :). I finally upped the prednisone to 10 mg and I think that has helped. I'm back down to my normal level of pain. Yay! I do still have marshmallow brain though...and my arm has a lovely gigantic bruise where the Implanon was inserted...and i'm cramping...and my banana muffins fell and are goey...but other that that it's good!
I'm still getting night sweats as well...donno why.
Marshmallow brain...I don't know what else to write. >.> Bran and I are going to make a big brunch tomorrow...yummy...

Adventure Day with Medical Professionals!
Ah dear. It's been a very busy day today. I didn't sleep well last night so that hasn't helped.
It started off cold. Cold and sore. After a hot shower and curling into a ball for a while I could move. It then continued on to going to my lovely counselor. As lovely as she is, we were tackling a difficult issue using EMDR therapy. I do feel that i've mostly processed what needed to be done and I do feel much less anxiety in regards to the issue. Which is great news as it's something that has caused me great emotional stress for most of my life. Oh but there is more, next time we are working on some family of origin issues! Good stuff.
Next up I had a (free!) bus ride back into the gap. That was bumpy but otherwise fine. Got my little implanon thing, visited the vampires (had to give blood for a lab test), and then visited a different gp to get the implanon inserted (my gp doesn't do it, sad). That was mostly fine except that local anesthetic hurts >.> more than her actually inserting the little rod under my skin. Now I have a nice bruise forming under a compression bandage that i'm meant to keep on for 24 hours.
After that I felt like I was going to pass out.
So after some rest and actually eating I did feel mostly better. I had a fun adventure in the grocery store with a brain that felt like a marshmallow. I don't remember half of what I got but it included chocolate, cookies, coffee and coffee mate. So i'm set ;).
Soreness was down a bit today (huzzah!). Still mostly hands, wrists, R foot, R knee, and shoulders. My elbows are a bit more sore now after the blood was taken and a little plastic rod stuffed in the other arm.
I also saw a very funny movie about the origins of the "hand held mobile massager" ;). It was called Hysteria and I would recommend it to other females for kicks.

Long Day Tomorrow...
It was another sore day today. My R foot especially. I was hobbling around quite a lot >.>....buying that walking stick on monday.
This one. isn't it cute :)
Feeling a bit better now, but i'm dreading tomorrow. Not only do I have to go visit the vampires again, but I have to do the EMDR therapy again. It ended up being quite rough last time...so i'm not sure how it'll go this time around. I'm also getting an Implanon contraceptive stick put in since apparently the bc pill can increase migraines, which I was recently (yesterday) diagnosed with. Fun stuff. It's going to be a long day tomorrow.

Migraine of DOOM
Had my GP visit today. She has upped the prednisone to 10 mg a day and has concluded that my random vertigo/wiggly vision was indeed a migraine. Thats good I guess? Better than it being a more serious problem :). I'm also going to get some of the blood tests for rheumatoid re-done to see if anything has changed. I guess we'll see.
I have been quite sore today. Mostly in my hands, I think because it was so cold this morning. I'm also very tired.

Off to See the GP...the Wonderful GP of Oz >.>
I wasn't too sore today...until my physio exercise class >.> now i'm really sore. I have been quite tired though. Going to the GP tomorrow to talk about the weird vertigo thing. My brain isn't working so well...
On a lighter note, the physio did note that my leg muscles are getting stronger :) huzzah! Now if only it would actually help my knee!

Quiet Day and LOTR
Definitely feeling it today. My hand and wrist are quite sore. But it was so worth it to have such a lovely holiday yesterday :). Plus leftovers are yummy, so I didn't have to cook today at all. Quiet day at home with Bran and Milo. Watched the uncut LOTR Fellowship of the Ring movie. They showed a lot more of the Shire <3. Bran and I both decided we wanted to live there and be hobbits.

Happy Mabon! Sorta...
Happy Mabon....kinda >.>. It was actually on the 21st of march but I decided to celebrate it today since we had a long weekend for Easter. It was nice really :) we roasted up some root veggies and made an apple pie and some lovely brioche rolls. Mmmm...so buttery they basically melted in your mouth. Now, just be be clear, we did indeed have salad yesterday to help balance it out ;).
We made corn husk dolls to represent to Goddess and God :). It's been nice celebrating my faith, usually it takes a back-burner to the main stream holidays.
It's been a busy day full of cooking and eating and football (AFL) and Lion King >.>. Not exactly harvest related but still fun! I haven't been too sore today, but I did have to stop and rest often.
